Scholarships

Prince Institute of Innovative Technology (PIIT) in Greater Noida provides various scholarships to support deserving students in their pursuit of higher education. These scholarships are designed to recognize and reward academic excellence, as well as to assist students who may face financial constraints. PIIT Greater Noida provides a range of scholarships to support talented and deserving students. These scholarships aim to recognize academic excellence, provide financial assistance to those in need, promote sports and gender equality, and create equal opportunities for all students.

From U.P. State Government:

Scholarships are paid to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Gen. students as per State Govt. Rules

From PIIT:

PIIT has been imparting free education to 25% of students hailing from socio-economically backward class, tribal community, widow's children, etc. In addition, meritorious students are also paid scholarships. In view of these activities, we have received an income tax exemption certificate under Section 12AA and 80G from the Department of Income Tax, Govt of India. In addition, we have also got clearance/ approval for receiving donations/ grants-in-aid under FCRA.

Cash Awards to Meritorious Students:

1. Cash Award of Rs. 1.00 Lakh

For those MBA students (affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) who secure a position amongst the top ten rank holders of the University in the final year examinations.

2. Cash Award of Rs. 50,000/-

For those BBA & BCA students (affiliated to CCS University, Meerut) who secure a position amongst the top ten rank holders of Board in the final year examinations.

3. Cash Award of Rs. 50,000/-

For those Diploma students (affiliated to UPBTE, Lucknow) who secure a position amongst the top ten rank holders of the Board in the final year examinations.

4. Cash Awards of Rs. 10,000/-

For each Faculty member in the Department who have taught the meritorious students in the category mentioned above.

The above Awards will be given to the meritorious students and faculty members after the results for the final year are declared by the concerned Board/ University.

Fee Concession to Deserving Candidates:

One of the aims of the Institute is to provide financial help to those meritorious students who hail from the socio-economically weaker section of the community. Fee concession, depending upon their financial condition, will be provided to such deserving candidates, as under:

(a) 50% concession in tuition fee to Girl Students under the "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" campaign of Hon'ble Prime Minister.

(b) The candidates who have obtained 85% and above marks in the previous examinations & passed out from a recognized institution but are unable to study further for want of money because of poor financial position of their family, such students will be admitted in the courses, as per eligibility criteria, in PIIT, at 75% fee from them.

(c) The candidates who are otherwise meritorious or are unable to take admission in a course in PIIT because of the poor financial position of their family, they will be provided concession in fee, depending upon the merit of each case.

1. Merit-based Scholarships:

PIIT offers merit-based scholarships to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance. These scholarships are awarded based on the student's overall academic record, including their grades, test scores, and achievements in extracurricular activities. Merit-based scholarships aim to encourage and motivate students to excel in their studies.

2. Need-based Scholarships:

PIIT understands the importance of financial assistance for students who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. To ensure that talented students are not deprived of quality education due to financial constraints, PIIT offers need-based scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute.

3. Sports Scholarships:

PIIT believes in holistic development and encourages students to participate in sports activities. To support talented athletes, the institute offers sports scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to students who have excelled in sports at the national or state level. Sports scholarships not only provide financial assistance but also create opportunities for students to showcase their talent in the field of sports.

4. Special Scholarships:

PIIT also provides special scholarships for students who belong to specific categories such as differently-abled students, minority communities, and socially disadvantaged groups. 5. Scholarships for Girls:
